River Wey View is a 269 sq metre large space measuring 24m x 11.4m. It has a ceiling measuring 5.7m in height, with eaves of 3.5m. This is the largest open space at Tannery Studios with capacity for up to 30 people and has a real ‘wow factor’. There is a 43 sq m ancillary office or control room on the south side with a floor to ceiling acoustic glass panel mounted in a steel partition. The office has individually temperature-controlled air conditioning, a ’timber plank feature wall’, vinyl flooring and three ‘crittall style’ heritage double glazed windows overlooking the south facing field.

The main space has a large original brick wall with exposed steelwork. The window sides are clad with certified timber. Lighting is fixed on the steels leaving a wide open and adaptable space for office or studio space. The larger room has 5 windows overlooking the River Wey canal and island and is naturally very well-lit with both south and north roof lights which have automatic blackout blinds, ideal for controlling light for filming. There is also a small 4 x 4m infinity cove and ‘letter box’ style wiring conduit between the spaces. There is 3 phase power and a large distribution board for future adaptions. The large space has a 25kW ducted and exposed air conditioning unit which can be redirected for a mezzanine / internal partitioning. The roof is well insulated and is covered with solar panels. The whole Tannery Studio building is supplied by 100% renewable energy when the sun is not shining.
